After studying Mechanical Engineering at university and working for 3 years in Southampton as a Production Engineer/Project Manager, Glenn went self employed in 2005 doing property renovations and conversions. In 2010 Glenn formed GW Rentals Ltd but continues to have involvement in other property development & management companies.
Glenn’s hobbies include badminton, watching Ipswich Town and spending as much time as possible in Australia!
After leaving School at 17, Stuart worked in retail for 3 years before joining a well known Insurance Company for 5 years as a Motor Claims Negotiator and later as a Training Officer. The highlight of Stuarts Career was spending 6 months in India training call centre staff. Unfortunately this led to Stuart being made redundant. Stuart then made the radical decision of becoming a Bus Driver. After 4 years driving buses Stuart Felt he needed more of a challenge in his life and this is when he joined GW Rentals Ltd in 2011.
Stuart’s hobbies include: Scouting, computers, going to the Cinema
After leaving school Darren became a sheet metal worker for 15 years, then followed by a four year period with a housing association as a Project Worker/Housing Officer. Then Darren started his own property maintenance company specialising in bathrooms and kitchens. Darren then returned to work for two different housing associations as a support worker. Joining GW Rentals Ltd in 2011 with all this experience in social housing and practical skills, there aren’t many issues or repairs Darren cannot handle!
Darren’s hobbies include: Keeping exotic pets (lizards, tarantula & a ferret)
Smokey (6 years old) has been with GW Rentals since the beginning and spends the week at the office and returns home with Glenn at the weekend. As visitors to the office know, he keeps a close eye on everything going on; but be aware don’t put your fingers near his cage, he likes to nibble!!
Smokey’s hobbies include: Whistling, drinking tea, eating monkey nuts and destroying his wooden toys!
